SEPTA's Norristown High Speed Line Prices To Go Down

Great news for riders on the Norristown High Speed Line and bus riders in the King of Prussia area.

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Great news for riders of SEPTA's Norristown High Speed Line: beginning January 1, prices are set to drop. The "fare simplification" announced by SEPTA means that high speed line riders, along with riders on several nearby bus routes, eliminates zones. This means that riders pay a flat fee.

Riders on bus routes 123, 124, 125, 150 are also included in the new fare rate, SEPTA announced. Routes 123-125 go from the King of Prussia Mall area into the city. Route 50 runs between the Parx Casino and the Plymouth Meeting Mall.

It's especially good news for those who take the high speed line for longer distances. The most expensive ride will be reduced from $3.75 to $2.25.
