SEPTA Regional Rail On Early Exit Schedule Amidst Snowstorm

SEPTA's Regional Rail will operate on an early exit schedule to accomodate the anticipated early afternoon rush.

SEPTA has announced an "early exit" schedule for Regional Rail trains amidst the snowstorm on Wednesday.

The new schedule means that nine trains from the evening service will be moved into midday service, for the expected increase in commuters leaving work early.

For most trains, a scheduled departure from Center City at around 5 p.m. has been cancelled and replaced by a departure at around 1 p.m.

Lines impacted include Lansdale/Doylestown, Manayunk/Norristown, Media/Elwyn, Paoli/Thornale, Trenton, Warminster, West Trenton, and Wilmington/Newark.

All other departures will operate as regularly scheduled, though delays are expecte due to the snowfall. SEPTA's system status can be monitored here.
