Several Injured In 2-Alarm Fire At KOP Apartments
A powerful late night fire at a King of Prussia apartment building Wednesday left numerous residents and first responders injured.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — A major fire at a King of Prussia apartment building left numerous residents and first responders injured late Wednesday night, media reports and authorities.
The incident began sometime before 10:30 p.m. at the Kingswood Apartments on the 200 block of West Byron Place.
Photos from the scene showed heavy flames bursting from the rooftops, as crews from several surrounding municipalities worked to contain it.

A second alarm was struck at around 11 p.m.
At least 13 people were injured on the scene, authorities confirmed, including several police officers.

All injuries were non-life-threatening.
Crews were cleared of the scene by around 1 a.m.
Red Cross of Philadelphia also responded to the scene and said that they were working with first responders and property management on ways to assist the residents that have been displaced by the blaze.
It's not yet clear what caused the blaze. Authorities are investigating on the scene.
