Severe Thunderstorm Watch In 10 PA Counties
Multiple tornadoes are possible, along with hail and wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour, according to forecasters.
SOUTHEASTERN PA — A powerful storm front is moving through the region, leading to a severe thunderstorm watch being issued in 10 eastern Pennsylvania counties.
The watch is in effect from 4:15 p.m. until midnight in Bucks, Berks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, and Philadelphia counties.

According to the National Weather Service, a severe thunderstorm watch indicates that "severe thunderstorms are possible in and near the watch area. Stay informed and be ready to act if a severe thunderstorm warning is issued." A severe thunderstorm warning, alternatively, indicates that residents should take action and seek shelter immediately.
