Sixers dispose of the Heat in the NBA playoffs first-round
Sixers have won 20 of their last 21 games, including the final 16 games of the regular season.

Philadelphia's Sixers defeated Miami 104-91 in NBA first-round playoff action Tuesday night to complete their series with the Heat, winning the series four games to one.
After manhandling the Heat in the first round of the playoffs, now Philadelphia looks to either Boston or Milwaukee in the quarterfinal round of this year's playoffs. Boston currently leads in that series three games to two after defeating the Bucks on Tuesday.
Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid really stood out for the Sixers in their series with Miami. Embiid, the Sixers' scoring leader during the regular season, averaged 18.5 points a game, 9.5 rebounds, and four blocks in the series with Miami. He averaged 22 points a game during the regular season to lead the squad. Simmons had a triple-double during the series with the Heat, the first rookie NBA triple double in the playoffs since Magic Johnson did it in 1980.

Philadelphia has not won the NBA title since 1983 when Hall of Famers Julius Erving and Moses Malone led the squad.
