Subaru Shares the Love With Local Meals on Wheels
Montco Meals on Wheels Program Partners with Subaru for Charity Event
For the third consecutive year, Montco based community organization, Montgomery County Senior Adult Activities Center, is partnering with John Kennedy Subaru and taking part in Subaru's Share the Love Event. From now through January 2nd, Subaru will donate $250 to Meals on Wheels when customers lease or buy a vehicle and select Meals on Wheels of America as their charity of choice upon checkout.
Donations received from Subaru will allow Montco SAAC to continue to serve the 350 homebound seniors in Norristown, Ambler, and Eastern Montco, that receive warm meals and volunteer visits from the organization on a daily basis. Not only does the program fight senior hunger, but it also addresses senior isolation, as often times, Meals on Wheels volunteers may be the only social contact that the seniors have that day.
