Support Norristown Charities With Holiday Shopping

As the holiday season continues, Amazon is offering customers a way to shop while benefiting local charities.

In the Norristown area, that could mean the Literacy Council of Norristown, or any number of other participating local nonprofits.

For shoppers who want a portion of their purchases to go toward a local group, they should enter Amazon via Amazon Smile at this link.

Amazon donates 0.5% of the price of eligible AmazonSmile purchases to the organization in question.

As of Black Friday, Amazon had raised a total of $37,903,623.82 for nonprofit organizations worldwide.
