Teens Attack Officers During Montco Burger King Brawl: Cops
Multiple teenagers attacked police officers during a recent brawl outside a local Burger King, authorities said.

ABINGTON, PA — Multiple teenagers attacked police officers during a recent brawl outside Burger King in Abington, authorities said.
The incident occurred on Feb. 6 at around 9:30 p.m. near the Burger King on 900 Easton Road.
Police were responding to the scene of a fight involving a large group of people nearby, and attempted to disperse the crowd when they arrived.

While two of the officers were talking to each other, Hope Brouwer-Ancher, an 18-year-old Glenside resident, attacked one of them "without warning," police said.
As the officers tried to get control of Brouwer-Ancher, another teenager, this one under 18, attacked the second officer from behind, according to authorities.

Both teens were arrested and charged with aggravated assault on a police officer, simple assault, and resisting arrest.
Both officers were injured in the fight and required medical treatment.
Brouwer-Ancher was arraigned and bail was set at $10,000. He was taken to Montgomery County Correctional Facility and released upon posting bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 13.
