Thanksgiving Fire Hits Building In Norristown

A fire on Thanksgiving Day was reported at a vacant three story building on the 500 block of Norris Street, according to fire officials.

Unites responded to the scene to find smoke showing from the rear of the building a fire bursting from the basement.

Crews stretched a fire line to the rear to extinguish the blaze.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
