Thousands Without Power In Montgomery County After Storm
Restoration times varied from hours to days after winds up to 60 miles an hour battered parts of the region.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Tuesday's storm left numerous impacts throughout the region, including power outages for thousands in Montgomery County and around the greater Philadelphia area.
As of just after 4 p.m., a total of 2,366 residents countywide were experiencing outages, according to PECO.
Some of those outages had brief restoration times, while others were unknown or hours or days away.

Municipalities with the largest number of outages are included below:
- Salford: 1,175
- Upper Merion: 789
- Towamencin: 94
- Upper Salford: 16
- Upper Gwynedd: 16
The outages come after a powerful thunderstorm ripped through the region Tuesday, bringing with it winds up to 60 miles per hour, large hail, and torrential rain in places.
