Timoney Knox Former Managing Partner to Retire

Michael O'Hara Peale Jr. has been a part of the firm for 47 years.

After leading the firm’s corporate and tax practice for the last 47 years, Michael O’Hara Peale Jr., Esquire, will retire at the end of May 2018, from Timoney Knox, LLP.

Peale, of North Wales, began with the firm in 1971 and served as managing partner from 1987 until July 2007. He heads the firm’s corporate and tax practice and has an extensive background in the formation of corporations and other business entities and helping clients buy and sell businesses. He also has expertise in estate and trust administration.

He holds a political science degree from St. Joseph’s University and is an avid St. Joe’s basketball fan. He earned his law degree from the Temple University School of Law, where he served as an editor with the Law Review and wrote for the Temple Law Quarterly. He also received a Master of Laws in Taxation from Temple.

Peale served in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the United State Navy and was appointed a military judge.

A devoted Phillies fan, Peale looks forward to spending more time with his wife, Donna, and their family.

Timoney Knox Managing Partner George M. Riter said Peale will be missed.
