Tiny Kitten Rescued Safely From Norristown Storm Drain

NORRISTOWN, PA — Norristown first responders executed a rescue Thursday of a very tiny kitten who somehow managed to become trapped in a local storm drain.

The drain was opened up and firefighters lowered a ladder down underground to get to the kitten.

Officials said the kitten had many "meows" to say while it was being rescued, but was safely returned to the surface.

The municipality called the cat "dangerously adorable."

It's not yet clear how the kitten became trapped below in the first place.
