West Norriton traffic will be impacted.

Weekday travel restrictions are scheduled next week on U.S. 422 and Route 63 (Trooper Road) in Upper Providence, Lower Providence and West Norriton townships for road construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said Thursday.
This work is part of PennDOT’s plan to widen Trooper Road and add two more ramps to the interchange with 422.
The project, which costs $16.8 million, is scheduled to be completed this fall.

While the work will not begin until after prime rush hour, and is over before the evening commute, motorists should expect congestion and should consider alternate routes.
