'Truly A Gentle Man': Lifelong Norristown Resident Passes at 76
"He was a hard working man whose life was centered on spending time with his family and dear friends."

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Pascal J. Catania, “Pat”, age 76 of Norristown, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. He was born in Norristown on March 1, 1940, son of the late John and Lillian (Venezia) Catania. He was the beloved husband of the late Barbara (Wosczyna) Catania for 49 years.
Pat was raised in Norristown, where he attended Norristown High School. He was employed as a truck driver for Tose Fowler Trucking, St. Johnsbury Trucking and Conway Express.

Pat enjoyed bowling in the Facenda Whitaker Bowling League and shooting bocce ball in the Elmwood Park League. He was a sports enthusiast of all the Philadelphia teams, especially the Eagles. Pat was a hard working man whose life was centered on spending time with his family and dear friends. Pat touched everyone’s life in a positive way. He was truly a gentle man.
He is survived by: a son, John J. of King of Prussia; a daughter, Donna M. (Phillip) Kuntz of Elizabethtown; 2 sisters, Maryann Nave of Norristown and Fran Hines of Lititz; 3 grandchildren, Olivia and Max Kuntz and Brianna (Matt) Clark; as well as his beloved fiancée of 3 years, Lori Templeton.

Relatives and friends may pay respects on Thursday evening, August 18th, from 6-8pm or on Friday morning, August 19th, from 9-10am at the William A. Moore Funeral Home, 708 Fayette St., Conshohocken. A service will commence at 10am in the funeral home. Interment, St. Benedict Cemetery in Conshohocken.
