Two Arrested After 9 Daytime Burglaries Across Montco: Cops
Two arrests have been made after numerous unsettling daytime burglaries of homes.

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA -- Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a series of disturbing daytime robberies in Lower Providence in late February and early March, the Lower Providence Township Police Department announced.
Benjamin Lopez, 23, of North Gravel Pike in Perkiomenville, and Emily Gallagher, 23, of Swamp Picnic Road in Gilbertsville, were first booked on March 16, police said.
The pair have been charged with burglaries and related offenses after they broke into the following homes:

- Feb. 23, 2016: 1300 block of Gravel Pike, Lower Frederick Township
- Feb. 25, 2016: unit block of Kratz Road, Lower Frederick Township
- Feb. 28, 2016: unit block of Gerloff Road, Lower Frederick Township
- Feb. 29, 2016: 100 block of Pinetown Road, Lower Providence Township
- March 7, 2016: 600 block of Rittenhouse Place, Franconia Township
- March 9, 2016: 800 block of Rising Sun Road, Franconia Township
- March 14, 2016: unit block of Featherbed Lane, Lower Providence Township
- March 15, 2016: 300 block of Level Road, Lower Providence Township
- March 15, 2016: 200 block of Level Road, Lower Providence Township
The investigation was a joint task which Lower Providence executed with help from the Montgomery County Detective Bureau's Major Crimes Unit, Pennsylvania State Police-Skippack barracks, New Hanover Township Police Department and the Lower Salford Township Police Department.
Both have had bail set at $25,000, police said.

Lopez was arrested on unrelated charges in Philadelphia on March 15, according to authorities.
A prelimiary hearing will be scheduled shortly.
