"The walk-out was a culminating demonstration for student body organizations such as No Place for Hate after a week-long program of announcements via The Morning Buzz to raise awareness to the school community about the values of tolerance, acceptance, and non-violence as part of a democratic society. During the walk-out, each student organization shared expressions of commitment to a safe and inclusive community. Students created the formation of a peace sign in the center of the football field, while linking arms in solidarity."
