Uproar Over Methacton School Board Appointment: Report

The approval of Scott Dorn, a recently defeated Methacton school board candidate, to take the place of resigning board President Christian Nascimento, has caused an uproar in the community, according to a report.

Although the move was approved, the roomful of members from the community were not happy with the decision, saying it was a ”lame-duck” move by departing board members, the report states.

Several residents screamed over board members during the ensuing meeting, and tensions rose, according to The Reporter.

“(This is a) blatant violation of textbook ethical behavior,” resident Andrew Sandner reportedly said.
