US Army Vet, Norristown High Grad, Dies At 77

NORRISTOWN, PA -- Horace Baynard, son of the late Alexander and Helen Baynard, was born on September 2, 1938, in Norristown, PA.

He was educated in the Norristown school system, and later served in the United States Army. Horace was a member of Local 135, operating heavy equipment.

Horace was an avid pinochle player, and loved the sound of jazzy musicians.

He leaves to mourn a brother, Alexander Baynard; longtime companion, Karen Clarke; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Baynard.

A memorial service is going to be held on Friday, April 22, at 11:00 a.m. at the Richard C. Johnson Funeral Home, 800 W. Main Street, Norristown, PA. Interment will be private.
