Victim Identified In Fatal Shooting At KOP Fitness Center

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The victim of a fatal shooting over the weekend at a fitness center in Montgomery County has been identified.

Alan Womack Jr., 28, of King of Prussia, was the man shot and killed during the incident at King of Prussia Town Center on Friday, Feb. 28, authorities confirmed.

The incident occurred at 9:56 p.m. in the parking lot of the LA Fitness, authorities said.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and an investigation remains underway.

Womack was transported to Paoli Hospital, where he was later declared dead.

Several persons of interest were detained at the scene by police, but no charges have yet been announced.
