
UPPER MERION, PA -- Police have released footage of a recent bank robbery in the township, and are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.
The incident occurred on Thursday, April 27 at around 12:24 p.m. at the Royal Bank, located on 655 W. Dekalb Pike in King of Prussia.
The suspect is a white male, aged 35-40, with a beard, long brown hair, and glasses. He was also wearing black gloves during the robbery.

Police said that the suspect "implied" he had a weapon when he made a demand of the teller for cash.
The teller handed over an undetermined amount of cash, with a dye pack hidden inside, into a small brown paper bag which he had brought into the bank with him.

Authorities believe the dye pack exploded, and that red dye could be all over the money and the suspect.
There were no customers in the bank during the robbery, and no injuries were reported.
He was last seen fleeing to the second level of the Macy's Blue parking garage at the mall.
