WATCH: King Of Prussia Mall Flooded, Shoppers Stranded

It was a bizarre scene Monday at the King of Prussia Mall, as water rushed through the lower levels, damaging stores and stranding shoppers.

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Floodwaters breached into the King of Prussia Mall on Monday, causing damage and stranding shoppers in the parking lots and inside the mall itself.

Videos taken by customers inside the mall showed a steady stream of at least several inches of water running along the lower level of the mall. Many of the stores on the lower level were shut down due to the flooding. By the food court, the water was ankle-deep.

Many parts of the mall's parking lots had turned into deep pools of standing water, leaving cars floating.
