Water Main Break In Norristown Causes Tuesday Closures
For seven hours, residents had to go to a water tank on the street to get water.

A water main break in Norristown on Tuesday caused road closures into the afternoon and evening.
Pennsylvania American Water said that the water main at East Logan and Arch Streets busted at about 3:15 p.m.
It was unclear what caused the break.

A water tanker was stationed at Arch Street and Dartmouth Street, beginning at 4:30 p.m., for all affected customers without water.
Arch Street was also closed to thru traffic from Johnson Highway to New Street until just before midnight.

All Norristown roads are now open, and the break has been repaired.
