Water Main Break In Norristown, Streets Remain Closed

Two streets are shut down and residents are asked to avoid the area.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A water main broke in Norristown on Monday and streets remain closed early Tuesday as crews work to address the situation.

The incident occurred at the intersection of DeKalb Street and Jacoby Street at around 2:45 p.m.

The municipality said Tuesday morning that DeKalb Street and Elm Street would remain shut down until further notice.
