Water Now Safe To Drink In Norristown, Plymouth, Whitpain: Officials
The boil water advisory, warning of potential contamination, was lifted after several days.
NORRISTOWN, PA — The boil water advisory was lifted in Norristown and several area municipalities Sunday night after remaining in place for several days.
Water in parts of Norristown, East Norriton, Plymouth, and Whitpain townships was possibly contaminated by a water main break back on Sept. 30, officials said.
Pennsylvania American Water said that "acceptable" test results came back from labs on samples collected on both Oct. 1 and Oct. 2.
