Wes Cowan Speaker at Historical Society Annual Luncheon

Wes Cowan of Antiques Roadshow and History Detectives will be the keynote speaker on November 12 at William Penn Inn. Public invited.

The Historical Society of Montgomery County will host its Annual Luncheon on November 12, 2016, 12:00-3:00 p.m., at the William Penn Inn.

Don't miss the big event of the year! This year’s featured speaker is Wes Cowan, a frequent personality seen on the television shows Antiques Roadshow and History Detectives.

Wes Cowan is founder and owner of Cowan’s Auctions, Inc., in Cincinnati, Ohio. An internationally recognized expert in historic Americana, Cowan stars in the PBS television series History Detectives and is a featured appraiser on Antiques Roadshow. He writes an antiques column for the Cincinnati Enquirer and is a frequently requested speaker at antiques events around the country. Wes is licensed as an auctioneer in Ohio and holds a B.A. and M.A. in anthropology from the University of Kentucky, and a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Michigan.
