Where Montgomery County Coronavirus Cases Have Decreased The Most

What parts of Montgomery County are doing the best? Two municipalities have seen drastic improvements in recent weeks.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — With Montgomery County moving to the green phase on Friday, coronavirus numbers continue to drop in nearly all municipalities.

Municipalities that saw the largest decreases from the most recent two week time period, to the two weeks prior to that, included Norristown (179 less), Lower Providence (116 less), and Abington (44 less). Near Norristown and Lower Providence, Plymouth (9 less) and Upper Merion (18 less) have also done notably well.

No Montgomery County towns have seen an increase of more than three cases in the past two weeks.

Overall, the county has recorded 481 positive tests in the past two weeks, down from 1,045 the two weeks prior to that. The daily average for the last two weeks is down to 34.
