Woman Stabbed Husband 4 Times With Kitchen Knife, Charged With Attempted Murder, Cops Say
The victim was found screaming in the bathroom and covered in blood.

A Lansdale woman has been charged with attempted murder in the stabbing of her husband insider their home Tuesday night in Lansdale, according to police.
Sometime before 10 p.m. on the 400 block of Acorn Street, 43-year-old Michelle Everett stabbed her 42-year-old husband in the back with a kitchen knife while he was in the shower, police said.
He disarmed her, but she gained a hold of a second kitchen knife downstairs, and stabbed her husband again on the first floor, according to police.

All told, the victim suffered four stab wounds in the neck and shoulder region, police said.
At about 10:02 p.m. officers arrived on the scene and found the victim 42-year-old male, yelling and lying on the first floor bathroom floor, police said.

He was covered in blood and had a spurting wound in his upper back from the stabbing, according to police.
Police found his wife hiding under a blanket in the basement. She was taken into custody.
The couple had three children with them in the house. They were found in an upstairs bedroom and taken into protective custody in the care of Montgomery County Children and Youth Services.
Everett has been charged with first degree criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and several other charges.
A motive for the crime was not readily apparent.
Officers from Towamencin, Lower Gwynedd and Upper Gwynedd Townships assisted Lansdale on the scene.
Everett’s preliminary hearing date is set for November 24. before District Judge Borek.
