Woman Wanted In North Carolina Captured At King Of Prussia Hotel: Cops

"Proactive patrolling" by local police led to the discovery.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A woman wanted in North Carolina on fraud charges was captured at a hotel in King of Prussia, police said.

The incident occurred on Friday, June 23 just after 1 a.m. at the Springhill Suites Hotel, located on 875 Mancill Mill Road.

Officers were sweeping the parking lot after an accidental 911 call when they found a "suspicious" vehicle belonging to the wanted woman.

They went inside the hotel and found the woman's room, where her identity was confirmed and she was arrested.

Upper Merion Police Department commended the officers involved for their "proactive patrolling."

She was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility and is pending extradition to the Stokes County, North Carolina Sheriff's Office.
