World Famous Yogi Coming To Montgomery County

OAKS, PA -- A world-famous yoga and meditation guru will be at the Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks next weekend.

Sadhguru, whose works have been reached by more than 100 million, according to officials, will teach "Inner Engineering" on May 5 and 6.

The event is organized by the Valley Forge Tourism & Convention (VFTCB) board and the local Isha Yoga Philadelphia Chapter.

"Sadhguru is recognized as a worldwide leader in the field of yoga and meditation, and is the founder of the McMinnville, Tennessee-based Isha Institute of Inner Sciences, which is dedicated to raising human consciousness and fostering global harmony through individual transformation," organizers for the event said. "The nonprofit foundation offers programs that provide methods that can help anyone work towards attaining physical, mental and spiritual well-being."

More than 7 million people around the world follow Sadhguru’s practices, which go beyond physical activities to help "align the mind." Adherents say that regular practice can help reduce anxiety, depression, and numerous other ills.

In 2016, Sadhguru led a UN yoga session at the General Assembly.
