A Year Later, Mysterious Montco Killing Remains Unsolved: Video Released

The case represents Montgomery County's only unsolved homicide of 2025.

NORRISTOWN, PA — A year after the death of a Norristown man, authorities are resharing the video of his killing in an attempt to track the suspect down.

The case remains the only unsolved homicide in Montgomery County in 2025.

The incident occurred at around 8:52 p.m. on Feb. 13 on the 800 block of George Street in Norristown.

Cesar Flores-Diaz, 27, was parking his vehicle outside of a home when the shooter ran across the street and fired multiple gunshots into the driver's side window, authorities said.

Surveillance footage shows that the shooter was waiting in a nearby stairwell for at least five minutes before Flores-Diaz arrived, according to police.

The video shows the shooter then fleeing on foot north on George Street.

Flores-Diaz was dead when officers arrived on the scene. Multiple shots hit him in the head.

The DA's office is offering a $5,000 reward for information on the suspect, who is identified from the video only as a man with a blue backpack and a "distinctive gate," according to officials.
