Your Home May Need a Little Valentine's Day Love Too
You may be able to find some great deals for your house this weekend, while saving money and the environment

Would you forgo the dozen long-stemmed roses this Valentine’s Day for some new kitchen cabinets?
You may not have to choose. There’s a place right here in our backyard where you could score an awesome deal — not only on those cabinets, but also building materials, furniture and appliances. It’s called ReStore.
Part of Habitat for Humanity, ReStore opened in West Norriton in September 2010, joining nearly 700 stores of its kind across the country. Fans of Food Network’s Ace of Cakes should check out this video of the grand opening of the West Norriton ReStore branch.

Located at 533 Foundry Road (close to Germantown Pike), ReStore sells new and gently used donated and surplus items to the public at a low cost.
The best part? Every $1 in sales keeps one pound of trash out of the landfill. Plus, all profits from the store go to Habitat for Humanity to build more homes. More than 50 homes have been constructed for people in need in the three Habitat for Humanity targeted communities — Norristown, Pottstown and North Hills.
