• North Wales awards road repaving contract (northpennnow.com) — North Wales Borough Council has approved a $571,000 contract with A.H. Cornell and Son to repave a long list of heavily used local streets and intersections this fall. Work is slated to begin after a Sept. 1 notice to proceed, with completion expected by late October, funded through local highway taxes and state liquid fuels dollars. Residents can track updates at the Aug. 25 council meeting or online.
