School of Rock is now enrolling for our Adult Performance Program where adult students get individual lessons on guitar, bass, drums, keys and vocals along with weekly band rehearsals. Whether you are an experienced musician looking to get back on stage or just learning for the first time, it’s time to grab your guitar, warm up those vocals, and prepare to rock.
With School of Rock’s Adult Program, you will learn from our amazing staff of professional musicians, meet cool people, and take the stage at a great rock venue in your community.

Nick Castanese, formerly of Black Label Society, is working hard to get the Adult Performance Program kicked off at School of Rock Wexford. (http://www.schoolofrock.com/programs/adult-program). Nick is currently hosting open rehearsals on Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00. Join Nick and the gang, try out the class, and meet other musicians! Don’t like it? No problem! There is no obligation for 1 free demo class any Wednesday at 6:00.
However, we’ve listed options below, if you do decide to enroll in the class full time.
ADULT Performance Program
The Performance program is meant for students ages 19-119 to play a show right away. The Adult Program caters to students of all skill levels and abilities. Students are cast on a specific tribute or variety show each season, and assigned specific parts in songs. The parts they are cast on will match with their ability level and growth path during that season, and will reflect the skills and concepts they are working on during their private lessons. Students are not cast into bands, but rather cast per song per part. There will be a mix of skill levels represented on each song and a different group of students performing each song. Song casting and show selection is the final decision of both the Show Director and the GM, but adult students are welcome to submit ideas!
Program Parameters
● 45 minute lesson per week
● 2 hour show rehearsal per week
● Performances at the end of the season
● Material assigned to each student will reflect their current ability level, their growth expectations, and the conceptual and technical material they are working on in their private lessons.

Lessons+
Lessons+ provides an individual weekly lesson, along with access to community activities including parties, shows, etc. Students should begin in Adult Performance, as Lessons+ does not give students the benefit of our group instruction.
