Auction of Steelers, Penguins Memorabilia Benefits Breast Cancer Awareness

In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Pittsburgh affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation is participating in a charity auction featuring 46 items of Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins memorabilia.

Total Sports Enterprise is hosting the auction Saturday, Oct. 27,  which includes limited-edition, game-used breast cancer awareness items. After the auction ends at 10 p.m., Total Sports Enterprise will donate all proceeds from the auction to the Komen Pittsburgh affiliate.

The items range from footballs, uniforms, and equipment to seats from Three Rivers Stadium and even Pittsburgh Penguins hockey jerseys. All items up for bid have been signed by Steelers legends, including Hines Ward, Jerome Bettis, Franco Harris, Jack Lambert, Rocky Bleier, e Greene, Ben Roethlisberger, Troy Polamalu, Mike Wallace, Lawrence Timmons, Sean Spence, Aaron Smith,Antonio Brown, Chuck Noll, Donnie Shell, Rod Woodson and Ryan Clark.

Hockey jerseys listed have been signed by Brooks Orpik, Maxime Talbot and Ruslan Fedotenko.

All items will be available for bidding until the auction closes on Saturday night. Items can be viewed and bid submitted at 86cares.com.
