Bike Parade, Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser Set in Bradford Woods
Bradford Woods Volunteer Fire Co. is holding a fundraiser to help Clay O'Connor, who suffered a brain injury during a skateboarding accident.

Bradford Woods Volunteer Fire Co. is holding an eventΒ Aug. 24 toΒ help pay for expenses for Clay O'Connor, a former volunteer firefighter with the company,Β who suffered a traumatic brain injury while skateboardingΒ this summer.
O'Connor, a 2009 North Allegheny Senior High School graduate, was skateboarding near theΒ Lehigh University campus in Bethlehem, PA in June when the accident happened, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
The event startsΒ at 9 a.m. with a half-mile bike paradeΒ through Bradford WoodsΒ that includes a best-decorated-bike contest.Β All participants must wear helmets.Β

After the parade, firefighters will serveΒ pancake and sausages until 11 a.m. Donations will be collected.
