A Pet Portrait Event benefiting the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society

Food for Fido is a limited edition pet portrait event giving your dog the chance to be a star, all while helping the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society.

Capture your loyal canine companion with a modern and expressive pet portrait from one of Pittsburgh’s premier pet photographers, all while helping the animals at the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society.  The second annual Food for Fido event will be hosted by Nicole Begley Photography in order to collect food donations and raise revenue for one of the busiest shelters in the area.

“I believe that the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, along with all of the other shelters and rescue organizations, is an incredible resource for the Greater Pittsburgh region,” says Begley.  “I am always looking for new ways to give back to charitable organizations, and I’m very excited about this new event.”

Pet owners will receive a 15 minute photography session along with a 5x7 print of their choice.  Participants are requested to bring a large bag of food, which will be donated to the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, as will a portion of the $35 session fee.  Advanced reservations are required.  The sessions will be held in Wexford from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2013. Visit www.food-for-fido.com for additional details.

“I believe that every pet owner deserves to have an image of his or her dog that captures the animal’s spirit and personality,” says Begley.  Food for Fido will allow Pittsburgh dog owners to do just that, while supporting a very important local resource at the same time.
