A workshop to teach techniques of backyard composting is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Boyd Community Center, 1220 Powers Run Road.
The workshop will cover the importance of composting, setting up and maintaining a compost pile and using finished compost. Participants will receive an 80-gallon Earth Machine Compost Bin.
