International Game Day at Northland

Northland is on the map….

…of participating libraries in the
International Games Day. The Library will join hundreds of libraries throughout
the country on November 16, 2013 for the sixth annual celebration of gaming in
libraries – International Games Day @ your library.

Libraries are becoming family
destinations, and Northland hopes to continue to develop and offer new formats
and innovative programs and services that educate, entertain and expand
interaction with their users. Gaming is yet another example of how libraries
are becoming more than just educational resources for the communities that they
serve. They are also places where users of all ages are welcome to have fun
together.  Like so many other libraries
across the country and around the world, Northland will offer a game day open
house in the Young Adult Room on the lower level from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.  It’s an event
suitable for the whole family.
