Knithope

The
response to this project has been absolutely incredible!  To date, over 50  scarves have been collected for distribution
to the Pittsburgh area’s homeless people and families struggling to make ends
meet-and there are still two weeks remaining.

Knit
or crochet a scarf approximately 60 inches long by 5 inches wide, any color,
that can go to a man or woman. Use any variety of washable yarns. Drop-off
boxes are located on the upper and lower levels of Northland Library for you to
bring your scarf in a ziplock bag and drop it in a scarf box by October 15. For
more information about the organization, and the project, go to KnitHope’s
website: www.knithope.org
