Look: North Allegheny Tigers Dominate in Quest to Repeat as WPIAL Champion

With a 4-0 start in regular-season play, the Tigers roll over their last two opponents without giving up a touchdown. North Allegheny Patch brings you a recap of the action.

After losing to eventual state champion Central Dauphin in the 2011 PIAA semifinals, the North Allegheny Tigers opened the 2012 season looking like a team on a mission to bring home a title.

The Tigers won the WPIAL Class AAAA championship last November but fell two wins short in their pursuit of the state title. This year, they've had little trouble dispatching their first four AAAA opponents, winning big against Mt. Lebanon (39-14), Fox Chapel (48-7), Seneca Valley (45-3) and last Friday against Pine-Richland  (35-3).

As North Allegheny prepares to play Butler Friday night at Newman Stadium, here's a look back at the team's most recent big victories against Pine-Richland and Seneca Valley.
