North Allegheny Clobbers Butler, 49-0

This one wasn't even close. North Allegheny extended its winning streak to 21 games with a 49-0 blowout of Butler at Newman Stadium.

Quarterback Mack Leftwich threw four touchdown passes to four different receivers, improving his season passing yardarge to 1,180 yards and 15 touchdowns. Leftwich is the leading passer in the WPIAL. Receivers Zach Lyon, Elijah Zeise, Alex DiCiantis and Gregg Garrity all caught TD passes.

Sean Idowu and Josh Bergman added rushing touchdowns, and Brendan Coniker scored a TD for the defense when he returned a fumble 24 yards for the score.

The loss drops Butler to 2-3.

North Allegheny is on the road next week against Gateway.
