North Allegheny School Students Shine at Marketing Career Development Conference
20 students won first place awards.

The North Allegheny School District proudly announces that 49 North Allegheny High School marketing students competed at the District 2 DECA Career Development Conference in December. Congratulations to the following students who won First Place Awards at the District Conference:

The next level of competition is the state conference, which will be held at the end of February 2013 in Hershey, PA. In addition to competing in various marketing areas, several students will be competing in marketing research, written events, entrepreneurship innovations plans, and fashion promotion plans. Students will present their findings and make recommendations to a panel of judges.
DECA is an Association of Marketing Students, operating through the nation’s schools to attract young people to careers in marketing, advertising, management, and entrepreneurship. There are 62 DECA chapters in Pennsylvania with a membership of more than 3,300 students, alumni, teachers and business professionals.
