North Allegheny Schools Conducting Building Lockdown Drills

The North Allegheny School District will conduct building lockdown drills with staff and students during school hours as part of the district's annual crisis response/readiness training program.

The drills will be conducted the week of Jan. 28 - Feb. 1.

"Students will be appropriately prepared by teachers and administrators, but parents may wish to continue discussions about this experience at home," said a message on the district's web site. "Visitors to our campuses who are present during a drill will be provided with directions regarding expectations for their participation."
