North Allegheny vs. Penn-Trafford on Xfinity On Demand

North Allegheny now faces Penn-Trafford in the WPIAL playoffs, and Comcast customers get the game on Xfinity On Demand beginning Saturday.

PITTSBURGH, PA (November 4, 2014) – The Xfinity High School Sports Game of the Week for the quarterfinal round of the 2014 WPIAL Football Playoffs will feature Penn-Trafford facing North Allegheny at Fox Chapel High School in a Class AAAA game.

The game will be available free to all Comcast Digital Starter and above subscribers beginning Saturday, Nov. 8 by choosing the Get Local, Sports and Xfinity HS Football folders on their Xfinity On Demand menu. It is available in both Standard Definition and High Definition.

The Xfinity High School Sports Game of Week will be called by the talented team of Chris Shovlin, Ellis Cannon and Charlie Batch.

Second-seeded Penn-Trafford (10-0 overall) defeated Fox Chapel, 40-13, last week in the opening round, as Devin Austin rushed for 157 yards and three touchdowns to help the Warriors recover from a 13-3 deficit. Seventh-seeded North Allegheny (8-2 overall) beat Upper St. Clair in the first round, 24-0, for its seventh straight victory this season.

This compelling quarterfinal-round game is part of the 12th consecutive season of local high school football coverage for Comcast. Comcast’s high school sports programming has been nominated multiple times for regional Emmy Awards.
