The undefeated Tigers take on the 4-5 Altoona Mountain Lions at Newman Stadium.

The next challenge facing the North Allegheny Tigers on their quest to three-peat as WPIAL Champions are the Altoona Mountain Lions, Friday night at Newman Stadium.
Altoona is a wild-card entrant to the playoff bracket, with a 4-5 record. It is the team's first playoff appearance since 2007.
The Tigers are undefeated and predicted by many to advance to the championship game at Heinz field, and likely beyond.

This is what the Post Gazette's Mike White said about their chances:
"It's hard to go against a team that has won 25 in a row against WPIAL competition and already owns a 14-3 road victory against No. 2 seed Gateway. Do the Tigers lack anything? They have a strong passing game, a more-than-adequate running game, a staunch defense and some star power in players such as lineman Pat Kugler (Michigan recruit) and quarterback Mack Leftwich. The best hope for opposing teams is to control the Tigers running game and hope Leftwich has an off day throwing."
