Tellabration

Join us for Pittsburgh's 24th annual Tellabration, an international day of storytelling in cities around the world! On Saturday, November 23 at 8:00pm, we invite you to travel down the river with Mike Fink, sing a toast to Monongahela Sal, meet the Farmer's Fun-loving daughter and share many more tales from the  fine storytellers of StorySwap, Pittsburgh's premier storytelling Guild. The evening's free storytelling concert, Banks of the Ohio, will present tales inspired from the history, novel terrain and the cultural stew of the region. Youth storytellers Sara Walker and Elizabeth Irvine will join Joanna Demarest, Lisa Hollingsworth-Segedy, Alan Irvine, Edmund LoPresti, Kathy Mason-Wood, Scott Pavelle, Mary Morgan Smith and Stas' Ziolkoski. Reservations are not required to attend. This is an after-hours Library event. All those attending must enter and exit through the main entrance on the lower level. For more information, contact Mike Kennelly at mbkennelly@gmail, or Mary Morgan Smith at smith6@einetwork.net.
