RICHBORO, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department reported the following calls between June 22 and June 28.
On June 22, patrol responded to the 1500 block of Holland Road for a vehicle lockout. Police spoke with the vehicle owner, who reported being locked out, and patrol used lockout tools to gain entry. The next day, patrol responded to the 1000 block of Temperance Lane for a found dog and was able to locate the owner and return the animal.
On June 24, patrol observed dirt bikes operating on Upper Holland Road and initiated a traffic stop. Police spoke with the juveniles, and their parents were contacted to retrieve the dirt bikes.
On June 25, patrol attended the Northampton Township Parks and Recreation concert.
Late on June 26, at 10:55 p.m., patrol observed an occupied vehicle parked in a maintenance lot in the 400 block of Newtown-Richboro Road. Police spoke with the individuals inside and identified them. There were no issues and the vehicle left the area.
On June 27, patrol responded to a home in the Churchville section of the township for a reported dwelling fire. Police reported smoke coming from the garage, but once on scene, determined the smoke was caused by a faulty refrigerator. The incident was then turned over to the fire department. The same day, community officers attended the Miracle League’s 14th Annual Baseball Game at Municipal Park.
On June 28, a resident dropped off property found in the Richboro section of the township. Patrol was able to contact the owner, who requested that the item be disposed of, according to police.
During the tour, patrol handled 12 alarm calls, 14 abandoned 911 calls, 30 medical emergencies, nine bookings, eight domestic disputes, 13 civil disputes, 56 traffic monitoring details and 21 crime prevention details.
