Periodic lane closures with flagging operations will be in place during scheduled work hours.

Motorists are asked to allow additional travel time, use caution when traveling through the work zone, and follow the directions of flaggers. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent and subject to change.

One Day Road Closure

New Road near the intersection of Holly Knoll Drive will be closed on Monday, Oct. 19, as part of an ongoing water main installation project by the Northampton, Bucks County, Municipal Authority (NBCMA).

DOLI Construction and its subcontractor, L&M Zimmerman, will be installing water main piping across New Road from the Tom Adams parking lot into Holly Knoll Drive.

The road will be closed for between two and three hours starting at 9 a.m.

Temporary signage and flaggers will be in place to redirect traffic away from the New Road/Holly Knoll Drive intersection.
Motorists will be directed to use Fairhill Drive, Windsor Drive, and Second Street Pike to access New Road in either direction.

Emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout the closure.

Motorists are encouraged to allow additional travel time, follow posted detour signs, and use caution when traveling near the work zone.
