NORTHAMPTON, PA -- Police have released photos of a man they say had a peculiar encounter with a young boy over the weekend at the Northampton Township Municipal Park. Police say the man, estimated to be about 65, "licked food residue" off a 5-year-old boy's fingers while sitting near his family in the park pavilion Saturday.

No further details regarding exactly what transpired during the odd interaction were offered by authorities. It is also unknown if the parents were aware the strange behavior was occurring or if they tried to stop it as it was happening.

In a Facebook post Tuesday night, Northampton Police posted the photos and said police are interested in speaking with the man in the photos. "If you recognize him please call our HQ at 215-322-6111 and ask for the Detectives Division."
