Very Peculiar Incident Between Man, Boy At Local Park Under Investigation

Police are looking for information after a man 'licked food residue' from a child's fingers at Northampton Municipal Park on Saturday.

NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA -- Police in Northampton Township are investigating a very peculiar incident that happened Saturday involving an older man and a five-year-old boy at the picnic area of the municipal park.

Police say they are trying to find out more information about the incident in which the man, estimated to be about 65, is reported to have "licked food residue" from a child’s fingers.

According to police, the incident happened at the pavilion area at the Northampton Township Municipal Park on Hatboro Road. The boy was in the pavilion area with his parents when an adult male, who was seated at the next picnic table over from the boy and his family, "licked food residue from the child’s fingers," police said.

The man is described as being white and approximately 65 years old with gray hair. He was driving a white SUV.
